DECIDR ("we", "our", "us") is a mobile application developed and operated by Jazmia ("the Developer"). This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
You can use DECIDR without creating an account. Creating an account is optional and lets you sync your decision history across devices. If you choose to create an account, we collect your email address for authentication purposes.
Your decision history (the choices you make within the app's games and your optional reflection notes) is stored on your device so you can review your past decisions. If you have an account, it is also stored securely in our database so it can sync across your devices.
We collect anonymous usage analytics through PostHog (hosted in Europe) to understand how people use the app and improve the experience. This includes events like which games are played and how often, but does not include personally identifiable information.
If you subscribe to DECIDR Premium, your payment is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment details. We receive confirmation of your subscription status through RevenueCat, our subscription management provider.
If you grant permission, we store a push notification token to send you optional reminders. You can revoke this permission at any time through your device settings.
Your email address is used solely for account authentication and password recovery. Your decision history is stored to provide you with a personal record of your choices. Analytics data is used to improve the app experience. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
DECIDR uses the following third-party services that may process data on our behalf: Supabase (database and authentication, hosted in Europe), PostHog (analytics, hosted in Europe), RevenueCat (subscription management), and Apple App Store (payment processing). Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, with row-level security policies ensuring that each user can only access their own data. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Our database is hosted within Europe.
You can view and delete your decision history at any time within the app. You can also permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app, on the Profile screen. Under GDPR and UK data protection law, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing.
DECIDR is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify users through the app. The effective date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
